Japanese rock supergroup THE LAST ROCKSTARS announced today that they will be postponing their upcoming Los Angeles concert which was scheduled for November 29 at YouTube Theater, citing unforeseen circumstances.

The concert was to be THE LAST ROCKSTARS’ only U.S. stop for their Fall 2023 “Psycho Love” tour, following concerts earlier this year in Tokyo, Los Angeles, and New York. The band will return to Los Angeles on August 29, 2024, with more international dates to be confirmed.
Band leader YOSHIKI said, “We’re very very very sorry for the inconvenience. We owe it to our fans to give them the best possible show every time. We’ll do our best when we come back next year.”

Ticket holders will receive official notification from Live Nation in the next few days with instructions and more information.

The new song "MASTERY" by the rock supergroup THE LAST ROCKSTARS, consisting of YOSHIKI, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI, has been chosen as the official image song for the 3D fighting game Tekken 8 which is scheduled to be released on January 26, 2024, for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam®.

The song was first performed at THE LAST ROCKSTARS' live concert "The 2nd Tour 2023 'PSYCHO LOVE'" held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on November 21. The collaboration with Tekken 8 was announced by the band members themselves.

The Tekken series has been around for about 30 years since the release of the first arcade game Tekken. It's a 3D fighting game developed in Japan that has sold over 55 million copies worldwide. Meanwhile, THE LAST ROCKSTARS is a supergroup formed in 2022 by four musicians who are at the top of the rock world. Their new song "MASTERY" has been chosen as the official image song, and they aim to create synergy between the strengths of "games" and "rock", and together, making history through this unique collaboration.

The new song "MASTERY" has an aggressive sound that connects to the intense battles and emotional stories of Tekken 8. SUGIZO plays a powerful and muscular guitar, and MIYAVI matches the strength with his intense guitar and rap. HYDE's fierce vocals and YOSHIKI's piano weave the overall story.

In addition to Tekken 8’s release on January 26, the song’s release on streaming platforms and other distribution methods will be announced soon.
